  1.      Notes on the Amiga version of Zoo. (2.01)

  3.          Please see the file 'Changes' which should have been
  4. included with this distribution for a list of the changes from the
  5.  previous version of AmigaZoo.
  6.  
  7.          A program called 'allfiles' can be found in this
  8. distribution along with docs on its use in the zall.zoo file. This
  9. utility was contributed by Mike Cargal. Thanks goes to him for
  10. writing it and allowing its distribution with AmigaZoo.
  11.  
  12.          AmigaZoo supports full-length AmigaDOS filenames and can
  13. archive and restore a directory structure.
  14.  
  15.          Note: For adding comments to an archive, the Amiga's eof
  16. character is a control \.
  17.  
  18.           Please distribute all the files in this package together.

  20.          AmigaZoo is a user supported program. Zoo was written by
  21. Rahul Dhesi and modified to run on the Amiga by J. Brian Waters.
  22. With the consent of the author, I am requesting a $10-$20
  23. contribution from satisfied users. This contribution is voluntary and
  24. you need not feel any guilt if you do not contribute. Any
  25. contributions received will go toward one of three things: firstly,
  26. and most importantly, they will be used to acquire any tools which
  27. may appear on the market to help make AmigaZoo better, like more
  28. optimizing C compilers or better debuggers; secondly, it will be
  29. used to help defray the costs of distributing Zoo; thirdly, if any
  30. money is still remaining it will be used to buy some shares of
  31. Commodore stock. In any case, you are encouraged to use and
  32. distribute this program in accordance with the conditions below.

  34.           AmigaZoo is a derivative work of a program copyrighted by
  35. Rahul Dhesi and as such is subject to the following limitations on
  36. distribution:

  38.                  Distribution of the executable AmigaZoo is permitted
  39. subject to the following conditions. Any violation of these
  40. conditions may lead to damages in favor of the copyright owner.

  42.                  AmigaZoo 2.01 may be duplicated and distributed, or
  43. made available for downloading via telecommunications, for no fee
  44. above normal connect charges. It is prohibited to distribute
  45. AmigaZoo with any copyright notices removed. It is prohibited to
  46. distribute AmigaZoo and not allow the recipient to redistribute
  47. it. This file must be included in any distribution of AmigaZoo.

  49.             Please note that AmigaZoo has different distribution
  50. conditions than the portable version of Zoo. These conditions allow
  51. any telecommunications service which does not claim a compilation
  52. right or charge a surcharge to distribute the AmigaZoo executable.
